  1. Family dashboard instructions don't match what I see on screen

Hello,I've run into a problem where the Family Dashboard's instructions don't match what I see on screen.I'm trying to link my daughter's account to her laptop on Family Safety. To do that, the instructions say this:"1. Go to Windows Settings2. Go to Accounts3. Go to Family & other people"But there isn't "Family & other people", there is only "Family". But going forward:"4. Under Your family, select your child, then select Allow. Once they sign in, this device will appear in their connected devices."Except in my case, when I select my child, I have no 'allow' option. I can change their

  3. How to setup an APP Password? MS instructions dont match web pages?

I dont see 'more security' in any of the menuing https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/...a-a6f2979a7944 How to create a new app password To create a new app password for an app or device, take the following steps. You can repeat these steps to create an app password for as many apps or devices as you need.
    1. Go to the Security basics page and sign in to your Microsoft account.
    2. Select More security options.
    3. Under App passwords, select Create a new app password. A new app password is generated and appears on your screen.
    4. Enter this app password where you would enter your normal Microsoft account password in the application.
Note: Once you have created and entered an app password for a given app or device, you usually won't need to do it again.

Family dashboard instructions don't match what I see on screen

Family Screen time is not working!

I had this exact problem and these are the steps I took to get the issue resolved:

    • Navigate to family safety settings and remove the child from the family having issues.
    • Login to the childs account and launch Settings (windows key + i)
    • Click the Accounts icon and select Sign in with local account instead
    • Follow the steps to change to a local account. When completed, Login back to your account (admin account)
    • Go back to the family safety settings and add your child back to the family group.
    • Access your childs email address to accept the family invitation
    • Verify the child now shows properly in the family settings and that the screen times are still correct.
    • Login to the childs account and launch Settings (windows key + i)
    • Click the Accounts icon and select Sign in with microsoft account instead
    • Your family settings should now take affect.

I know this is pretty tedious, but like I said, it worked for me. If you are still having trouble, I suggest contacting support and they can help walk you through the steps to get it resolved.
