Windows 10: Family features something went wrong

Am thinking it’s more widespread and the problem is on Microsoft’s end because several of my family and friends are seeing the same. They have their own family acc setups. Nothing to do with mine

EDIT where did the reply post go from the other user? Makes it look like I am replying to myself!

 

Anyone use or notice this since feature update? On every restart box pops up ‘Microsoft family features something went wrong, we are working on it’. Affects all our machines

We would like to know more about your concern. Kindly clarify the following:

• Before removing your account on the child list from the Family feature, did you disable the Block inappropriate websites option? ( Please see screenshots)
  

• Other the 'Something has gone wrong,' do you get other error messages?

Family Feature - 'Something went wrong'

Recently, I keep getting notified that to access Chrome or Firefox I need 'parents permission' in something they never opted in for. This was ever since I logged into the Xbox with this account and that 'I needed permission' to access these apps. I have
removed my account from the family and as a child, yet I still keep getting notified that I need permission, but when I click 'send email' it says 'something has gone wrong' I'm guessing it means I'm off the child list, but do I need to do something to confirm
this? The 'turn off family feature' page did not help me. Thanks.

Thank you. But the box comes up when I login to my adult user account on the PC. I think this is more for when the child account themselves have problems
