Windows 10: Family member still shows as pending for organizer even after child accepts

I added my child and invitation was accepted by him. Many hours later as the organizer his status still shows up as 'pending'. When he logs in to his account it shows as connected. Only options for me are cancel invitation or accept. I can't even remove him from my end because I don't have that option yet. I can't accept for him because he has already accepted. I can't modify his account because it only shows up as pending. He can't unjoin because that action must be done by organizer. Have tried different browsers, incognito windows, even different machines Mac and PC. Result is always the

Hello,

I added an account for my mom in the Family section as a Member instead of an Organizer. Though her birthdate is correct in her Microsoft Account, she is now listed as a child.

She verified her account and she signed onto my computer with her Microsoft Account. I, then, went to my Microsoft Account to "Accept" her profile and it requested that I log out (in fact, I was logged out of my Microsoft Account automatically) and was asked that the child, in this case my mother, to sign back in.

To complete the process, it is asking the child to sign in after I was logged out of my Microsoft Account automatically. Is it asking the child to log into Microsoft Account while in my profile/account? My mother already have access to her own account on my computer with her Microsoft account (she has only one MS Account), so I believe this clicking on "Accept" on my mom's profile in Managing Family Member in my Microsoft Account is just for accessing Microsoft Account services for the child. Can I just not accept it? And where do they want the child to log into Microsoft Account after I was logged out?

Are there any [Family Member, Adult] or is it just the option of Organizer and Member for Child? I was thinking of just deleting her account and re-add her as an Organizer, anyways.

Family members accepted invitation but under my account their accounts show pending

I added family members as adults to my account. They each received and accepted my invitation. When I check on their status, it shows that their invite is still pending but they can log in. Help

Have you verified the date of birth you setup for these child accounts?

If you have not setup their date of birth properly on
https://account.live.com/, we suggest you login your children's account and apply the complete details and update the account. After updating the profile information, remove and re-add the child account on the Family Safety
website.

Please follow these steps on how to remove a child and re-add it as a member of your Family Safety program.

To remove a member, follow these steps:
1. Log in to
https://fss.live.com.

2. Click Remove a family member.

3. Select the member you want to remove by selecting the checkbox on the right of each member.

4. Click Remove, confirm it by clicking Remove again.



To add the member again, follow these:

1. Click Add a new child.

2. You will be asked to sign in the member you want to add. Click Sign in at the right side of the option "Does this child has a Windows Live ID?"

3. Sign in using the child account. After entering the child account, it should appear as the member.
