Windows 10: Family organisator changed partly without activity from our side

I am the organisator of our family group, have set that up 2 years ago, did an extension later on and everything was working. In troubleshooting with MS support to avoid a constantly popup message for my kid's account we recognized a problem with organisator settings. When I log in, I see my wife as family organisator which is wrong If she logs in, she sees me as the family organisator which would be right. As a consequence none of us can extend the group or delete someone. The IOS-App I am using with my credentials shows me as the organisator but I cannot add or delete members there

Family activity report

Hi Javier,

There are ways on how to manage activity reporting for your child. To configure your account settings, here are the steps:

• Go to the account.microsoft.com/family site at Microsoft on any PC
• Then sign-in
• Open Settings
  
• Tap on the Accounts icon
• Click on Family and other users on the left side
• Chose Manage family settings online
• Check recent activity link for the child's account

Turn On and Manage Activity Reporting for Child

• Click on Recent activity on the left side, and turn on Activity reporting.
• Check or uncheck to Email weekly reports to me for what you want.
• Under Web browsing, Apps and games etc., you can view your child's recent activity for each one, tap on Change settings
  
• Then set allowed times to manage them, and to block any apps and games.

To Turn Off Activity Reporting for your Child, just tap on Recent activity on the left side, and turn off Activity reporting on the right side.

Get back to us if the steps won't work.

 

Can't add family organiser to family group

Hi, when trying to add a family member as an organiser to my family group I send the invite and an acknowledgement screen that states "Invitation sent to their email. When they accept, they'll join your family."

I logged out and logged back in with their MSA, went to their email and accepted the invitation. I was then presented with the following:

You haven't joined the family yet!

To join this family, you’ll need to leave the Microsoft family you’re already in.

Got it

Once you click "Got it" you just get a screen listing the members of the family. No instructions, no subsequent actions to take, nothing.

I've also tried clicking 'accept now' in my own account on the invitation page; I'm invited to login to their account, I see a summary screen listing the Organiser user profile details and click 'Yes' at the bottom. I then receive the error page:

" something went wrong, please try refreshing the page or try again later'

I've tried this multiple times without success!!
