Windows 10: Family Safety app keeps asking children to log on to verify their account. Endless loop.

When I click on a child in the family app, it says that i have to sign in again to verify their account on each device by allowing dialogue at aka.ms/familyverify through MS Edge. When I do this, it opens another window on my pc where, after I input my pin, the window just closes, and nothing changes. How do I fix this?This account has logged off and logged in to all three devices repeatedly. This also doesn't appear to impact usage on the devices. I do see it in family app when trying to manage their activity.This happens when I log into my Microsoft account, as well. Here is a screen sho

Family Safety weekly report being CC'd to my children

Hi,

As the information of Family Safety Report are going to children by default, we would like you to do a refresh on the child account and see if the issue persists.

To remove/re-add a child account, please follow the steps below:

1. Sign in to Family Safety using the parent account.

2. Click Manage list of Family Members.

3. Select the child account, and then click Remove. Click Remove to confirm.

After troubleshooting, we would suggest you to add the children account. The reports will not be CC to children.

Windows 10 Family Safety Requires Children To Have A Microsoft Account?

I agree that young children shouldn't need email addresses in order to use Microsoft Family Safety (now known as "Microsoft Family).

For those of you who agree that this new requirement should be changed, you can let Microsoft know via my suggestion here at https://windows.uservoice.com/ . Microsoft uses uservoice.com to solicit feedback.

"Allow Windows 10 Family Safety account for children without an email

Currently, this suggestion has nearly 200 votes and is in the top 10 ideas for "Security, Privacy and Accounts". With more votes, hopefully Microsoft will notice.

 

Facebook timeout under Family Safety monitored account

I have a bundle of accounts on my family computer. Two of them are adult ones (for me and my spouse), two are for children. Children accounts are monitored by Microsoft Family Safety.

There is a problem with Facebook access under children accounts.

When I browse Facebook using my account, all is OK. However, There is timeout error when I try to access Facebook using children accounts.

The response doesn't look like Family Safety blocker. When the Family Safety blocks some Internet resourse, it shows some beautiful response page instead. However, in the case I describing there is no response at all, causing timeout eventually.

The problem persists with all the children accounts on my Family Safety base. All is OK with adult accounts.

I've tried to:

• call Facebook support;
• use another browser;
• use another machine and another internet provider;
• add Zum Anzeigen anmelden oder registrieren and Zum Anzeigen anmelden oder registrieren to the white list;
• disable web restrictions.

Nothing above helps.
