Windows 10: Family Safety: Installing software as the parent/admin into the child/standard account?

Hello! I've set up Family Safety. My child has a standard account in Windows 11 Pro, I have the admin account. How does one install software onto the child's account when Family Safety is turned on? I had to change his account to an admin account, restart, then install Minecraft while logged onto his account, then change his account back to standard. Will this be the process going forward when installing new software into his account?Or is there a simpler way to do this?Thank you!

Family Safety - add device to child profile

Since this is the case and you have ensured the settings are correctly setup in family Safety, we suggest that you sign in using your main account and remove you child's account from Family Safety list. (Refer to the image below for reference.)





After completing the steps, attempt to use the email address of your child to login to the computer and see if the same error message still shows up. If the error no longer shows up, we suggest that you attempt to add the account back then to Family safety.

Which Windows 10 build is installed on your computer?

I would suggest you to remove the child account from the family safety website and then add it again. Follow the below steps:

• Login to the
  www.familysafety.microsoft.com
• Remove the Child account.
• Now from the Parent computer, open Settings.
• Click on Accounts.
• Select Family and other users.
• Click on Add someone else to this PC.
• Enter the Email address of the Child account which was removed.
• Follow the onscreen instructions.
• Now a verification email address will be send to the Child’s Email address.
• Then login to the family safety website and then you can put the restrictions for the Child.

Windows 10 Family Safety is blocking my browser!!!

Can you confirm if you are out of the Family Safety feature on your parent's account on this
link? If you've confirmed that you're no longer on the list of monitored child accounts, we suggest deleting the Family Safety folder. Here are the steps:

• Press Windows key + E on your keyboard.
• On the address bar, type this address C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\Parental Controls and press
  Enter.
• Delete all contents of the Parental Controls folder.
• Restart and see if the issue is resolved.
