    Family Safety: Son's computer not recognizing changes in Windows 10.

    This issue might occur if there is change in family safety account.



    To assist you better, please provide us the information below:

    • Have you tried to log out or restart from the child's computer and logging in to the computer?
    • Are you able to see the child account in the Family Safety settings after removing it?


    I suggest you to refer to the steps below to remove the child account from the family safety account and also turn on
    Activity reporting.

    windows 10 family safety is ****.

    My son found a way to bypass EVERYTHING and able to TURN OFF EVERY SINGLE setting in 10 min... and he does not even have any of the password.

    This windows 10 Family Safety is a joke. completely useless.... whoever led the family safety team project manager and the team should be fired..

    Microsoft family features (includes family safety features formerly known as
    Microsoft Family Safety), is a free set of features available on Windows 10 PC and Mobile that is bundled with the Windows 10 operating system.
    Please ensure that the parent email account is set as an administrator on the child's laptop. Once done, you may follow the steps below to properly manage the settings on the Family Safety website:

    • On the Start screen, type Family Safety.
    • Click on Settings.
    • Click the Family Safety icon.
    • On the bottom part of the window, click Manage settings on the Family Safety website. Your default browser will direct you to the Family Safety website.
    • Sign in using the parent account.
