    Hello, I just installed microsoft on my pc. Somehow, family safety keeps locking my PC even though I am an adult and only user on my computer. It says 'This device is locked because of your family settings for screen time'. I just want to access my computer for work related reasons and can't wait until said time to be locked out of my own pc. I don't even have family safety app on computer, I checked it before. Hoe does this happen? How can I access my PC?

    Family Safety on when it shouldn't be


    Ever since I updated to windows 10 I've been having troubles with the Family Safety options. Things like youtube videos and other things like that are blocked, and locked that way. I am the administrator account and the adult (as well as the only one on this computer). I also frequently get messages in my notifications box about how my device activity is reported to my family. Since I am the only one on the computer/family, I am confused. Is there anyway to turn family safety off?

    I'd like to leave this family(-group) to join another, but I've been seeing this same error for several days now, across at least a couple reboots.

    Additional information: I've sent this account an invite from the other family, and get the invite here. If I try to accept the invite, it says I must leave my current family first. I get the link to leave, but the same error.

    Any ideas?
