Windows 10: Family Safety on when it shouldn't be

Ever since I updated to windows 10 I've been having troubles with the Family Safety options. Things like youtube videos and other things like that are blocked, and locked that way. I am the administrator account and the adult (as well as the only one on this computer). I also frequently get messages in my notifications box about how my device activity is reported to my family. Since I am the only one on the computer/family, I am confused. Is there anyway to turn family safety off?

My account was removed from family safety. It shouldn't have been, there was no reason for it.

 

Windows 10 Family Safety

I ended up removing my daughters PC from the family safety website as it was not refreshing with the family safety website and had a mind of it's own similar to what you describe. I then had to log in to my daughters PC using her login and run the Task
Scheduler as 'an Administrator". I then disabled the Family Safety Tasks under Microsoft/Windows/Shell. That returned her PC to normal. I then sent another invitation from Family Safety website and then manually enabled the Family Safety tasks on her PC.
Now seems to be working.......... until the next time.

The point is that we shouldn't be having these problems.

 

If you use MS account/IE/Edge, you need to disable FamilySafety online as well.

Additionally, you can input this into CMD as admin, enter and restart:

schtasks /Change /TN "Microsoft\Windows\Shell\FamilySafetyMonitor" /Disable
schtasks /Change /TN "Microsoft\Windows\Shell\FamilySafetyRefresh" /Disable

 

I use mostly Google Chrome, but I looked for the options in Microsoft Edge and couldn't find it. Also, when I commands in the cmd it said that it was already disabled. I restarted anyway and nothing was changed, as I expected.
