Windows 10: Family Safety on Windows 11 stopped working

For few months I had no issues on my daughters Windows 11 device with the screen time control. Out of the blue it stopped working. I have checked several things from rebooting, verifying account, updating... buth nothing made it work again.I have also deleted the folders in C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\Parental Controls to test the definitions being pushed to the device. Upon logon hte definitions has been created again. If I update the definition of screen on my mobile, the new definition file is uploaded. However the control it self does not work.Any suggestions?

family safety token auth has stopped working

I keep getting a notification that "family safety token auth has stopped working." This happens on child's laptop with family safety restrictions. I have tried deleting and restoring the account, and deleting the files in program data/Microsoft/Windows/Parental
Controls folder, but none of this helps. Does anyone have a suggestion?

Before we proceed, we require more information to assist you better.

• Which web browser are you using?
• Are the settings on the Family Safety options on your computer are the same with the one on
  Outlook – free personal email and calendar from Microsoft?

I suggest you to login with your parental account and check if you are able to manage the family settings.



If the issue still persist, it might appears that the Child account is not configure correctly. I suggest you to remove the Family Safety and configure it again.

Now, setup Family Safety.
