Windows 10: family safety unable to get to stop working for my son

I spent a lot of time with general support chat but they could not help. I removed my son's restrictions on Microsoft family and then removed him from family group as he is now old enough to use without restrictions. Family safety says no restrictions but when he tries to use edge and open things it keeps asking for him to ask for permission. I just want it all shutoff for my son Shawn.

If you had previously set up family features for a child account and then upgraded to Windows 10 , there are a few steps you need to take to turn on family settings again.

Family Safety: Son's computer not recognizing changes in Windows 10.

I use Family Safety to monitor my son's account, but a bit ago, I stopped being able to communicate with his computer. If he sent me a request to extend his time, I didn't receive it, and it didn't appear on the Family Safety page. If I made adjustments
to the page, it wouldn't register on his computer. I even deleted him from my family, and he is still being "monitored" (and still has the same restrictions). I tried logging in as him on a different device, and the restrictions are off, so I know it is something
on his machine
