Windows 10: Family Tree Maker 2019 installed on new Windows 11 is just not working properly

I have a new laptop with Windows 11 and since I installed Family Tree Maker 2019 , the app is just not working as it had previously. Even with the latest update 24.2.1, every time I go to my desktop to open up the app, it says FTM.exe do you want to allow this app to make changes to your device. Firstly, if I installed the FTM app should it still display FTM. Exe on my desktop? And second, did I not complete some process when I installed the program, that it keeps asking me this question every time , even when I click yes to this question every time? Suddenly, I am unable to open the app Family Tree Maker 2019. I can't repair or uninstall it either. I downloaded another copy but it fails to execute. Windows 11 says there is a problem but no further information or help. Can you help?

I had my computer reset and lost Family Tree Maker versions 2017 and 2019. How can I get them back?

Thank you for your quick response. The correct name of the application is "Family Tree Maker 2019". I downloaded it from www.mckiev.com/ftm and have successfully used it since December 2021 with no trouble at all. Now when I click on it to open, I get the following message: "FTM.exe - Application error

The application was unable to start correctly (0xc0000135). Click ok to close the application."

I tried to repair the app, but it wouldn't complete.

I tried to remove the app and replace it, but it would not remove though a replacement did download and is sitting in my download file. I install all the recommended updates when they occur and use clean disc. Computer is running great. Just can't open this app anymore or remove it. It is simply stuck.

I am using Windows 11 and the computer is a new all-in-one from Lenovo. What do you recommend?
