    Fan issue after update .NET Framework 3.5 and 4.8.1 for Windows 11, version 23H2 for x64...


    After Cumulative Update for .NET Framework 3.5 and 4.8.1 for Windows 11, version 23H2 for x64 KB5045935, my dell g15 5520 laptop is running its fan at 100% speed on idle temperature. I do not have anything running in task manager, all my CPU, RAM and GPU temperatures are under 50° C.

    Error 0x80092004 | 2023-02 Cumulative Update for .Net Framework 3.5, 4.8, and 4.8.1 for Windows 10 Version 22H2 for x64 (KB5022729)

    The .NET Framework 4.8.1 February cumulative update, KB5022498 will not install. This is an issue only occurs after installing the .NET Framework 4.8 February cumulative update, KB5022502, then upgrading to .NET Framework 4.8.1 then scanning for updates.

    Applying the following steps will allow KB5022498to be installed:

    • Uninstall 4.8 February update (KB5022502 )
    • Run command from elevated Command Promp: dism/online /cleanup-image /StartComponentCleanup
    • Scan for windows update again, 4.8.1 February update (KB5022498) installs as expected.

    Unable to update Window 11 Version 23H2 & 2024-1 Cumulative Update for .NET Framework

    Unable to update Window 11, version 23H2, 2024-1 Cumulative Update for .NET Framework 3.5 and 4.8.1 for Window 11, version 22H2 for x64 (KB5033920)

    Unable to turn on windows feature legacy components, directplay. After searching for required files, it turned out having the same error code. It also stated an error has occured. Not all of the features were successfully changed.

    Three failure updates stated the install error - 0x800700c1, have been searching for solution but none work.
