Windows 10: Fan issues

I have just bought a Dell Inspiron 5515 and installed SupportAssist. Sometimes when I turn my laptop on, it appeared SupportAssist notification that my fan didnt respond correctly, I brought my Dell to store to check it out and they said that the diagnostic ran to fast to recognise the fan I allowed the pc to turn on after open the lid, just need to update BIOS to 1.12.0, I did update all my drivers up to date and turn the auto-turnon off but the error was still there. How could I fix it? pls help

That's what the auto setting will do since you're over the 1333 mark it jumps to the next step which isn't listed or officially supported I assume by that ram.

At this point though I would suggest dropping the multi one step or .5 so that we can get something stable and possibly take the heat issue out of the picture for now.

Cooling external Fan

• Have you tried connecting other USB external devices to your laptop? If yes, what was the result?
  
• Have you tried connecting your external fan to another computer?
