Windows 10: fan lights have stopped working

I recently installed the Asrock Polychromatic RGB controller so that I could adjust the speed and color of my fan lights. Everything was fine for several days but suddenly the fan lights have stopped working. Now there are no fan lights coming on. I uninstalled the Asrock software, but the fan lights still don't work. I am at a loss as to what to do. The bios in my computer say that the rgb controller is enabled and has the settings listed that I changed the lights to with software. Moved from Microsoft Teams / Teams for personal / Other

Help! Brand new PC stopped being able to display on monitor, but all the fans and lights still work.

So I made a dumb mistake, the pc had already booted up and rebooted for the first time I think as necessary and I was on the step of Windows asking me about signing in on an app with a QR code when my mouse just randomly stopped showing up on the screen and I couldn’t move on, so after trying to disconnect and reconnect the mouse and that not working, I tried rebooting the PC using the power button thinking it’d bring me back to where I left off. I think it ended up corrupting the system, because now when it was projecting just fine, it’s not even showing anything on the monitor anymore and just has a red light inside the case with all the fans, lights, everything else working. What do I do and is this fixable because this PC is brand new and I don’t wanna have to return it

Since the spinning fan portion is working we won't bother with that, but could you describe how the lighting is hooked up? I can't find any docs for those fans, but as best as I can tell, you should have the following:

1) SATA Power connected to the controller that came with the fans.
2) I'm assuming that the controller also connects to a USB 2 header on the MB in order to provide lighting control.
3) Installation of one of the supported ligting software packages such as MSI Mystic Light.

NOTE: Having more than one lighting package can cause difficulties as they may "step" on each other. Enable support for the fans through only one lighting control software package/

Also, please describe what about RGB part is not working. Is the software simply not seeing the fans or does it see them but fail to control them?

 

OMG!! My P3 CPU fan stopped working!! Need a replacement..

OMG!! My Intel P3 800MHz CPU fan (FC-PGA Retail Box type) stopped working after putting some (maybe, but I think I put too much) multi-purpose oil into it!! Any suggestions on getting a replacement..? *Frown
