Windows 10: Fan running Continously

I purchased this laptop a week ago. Yesterday I received a message stating that my downloads were not complete or maybe the message stated that I needed to complete an update. Either way, I clicked it and almost immediately the fan began running loudly and nonstop. I have no clue as to how to remedy this. Any help would be appreciated.

I suggest you to follow the steps and check .

Method 1:

Run the power troubleshooter and check.

1-Press Windows key + X and click on Control Panel.

2-Double click on troubleshooting and click on view all.

3. Click power and hit next to run the power troubleshooter.

4. Follow the on screen directions to complete the process. Once it is done, close all windows and restart the computer

If the issue persists try the below Method.

Method 2:

I would suggest you to download and install the latest chipset drivers and Hardware Driver update from the manufactures’ website.

CPU Fan runs constantly

Hi,

We would like to know the following information to assist you better regarding CPU fan issue.

• Does the fan runs constantly fast or do you hear any noise?
• Have you tried updating all the drivers of your computer?
• Have you tried any troubleshooting steps before posting this concern? If yes, what are those?
• What is the memory/disk usage in task manager?
  
  You may check this by typing Task Manager in the search box
  and hit Enter. Check which application
  is taking more memory or disk usage.

Fan runs continously on Windows 10.

I loaded Windows 10 and now my fan on my laptop is continually running. Is this a problem with W 10 and would I be better off uninstalling 10 before they fix this problem?
