Windows 10: fan still running after hibernate

Issue: It does NOT automatically power-off the laptop and fan still running after hibernate. Note: this happens almost 4out-of5 of times that I hibernate. It means almost 1out-of5 of times, it automatically power-off after hibernate. Steps: 1. I click on hibernate, it saves everything and power-off the screen BUT it does NOT automatically power-off the laptop and fan still running, even if I leave it for hours. 2. so I need to manually hit the laptop buttonswitch-on/off. I already tried: - "Turn on fast startup" is already unchecked - powercfg /h on/off specification: - Windows10 - leno

To make hibernation available, follow these steps:

• When you are prompted by User Account Control, click Continue.
• At the command prompt, type powercfg.exe /hibernate on, and then press Enter.
• Type exit, and then press Enter to close the Command Prompt window.
