Windows 10: Fans at 100% and laptop turns off

Hi,Today I got a blue screen of death and after that when I try to turn on my laptop, my fans go up to 100% and after around 30sec my laptop turns off.I cannot reset it to the initial settings as I've got around 30 seconds to work with, so I can only provide the dump file from the blue screen.https://drive.google.com/file/d/1GqPL-q7hToRC7pHQ40ezm7h4nvTDz3ZX/view?usp=drivesdkCould you help?

Laptop fan not always turning on


Hello,
I am having an issue on my Inspiron 15 where my cooling fan doesnt always start up. For example, ill start up the laptop, and start web browsing or playing a game, and the fan will never turn on. I have had it overheat and shut off a few times. But if i restart the laptop manually (start>power>restart), it will spin up automatically as it should. But then after a few more restarts, i will have a session where the fan will never turn on. Right now my only solution, besides a restart, is to use the program Speedfan, and ramp the fans to 100%. Does anyone know why its doing this? My other Inspiron 15, running a Broadwell i7 and Windows 10, has no issues at all.

Utility for laptop fan control?

Note that, depending on your laptop, any direct control of the fan may not be possible. I suggested the one above as it seems aimed at laptops in particular- but I've not tried it.

E.g. Speedfan lists no fan on my Thinkpad.

Ok, I've now tried NoteBook FanControl for you.
It has preset configurations for different machines: e.g.




which for my t440s gives




- whereas Speedfan didn't seem to achieve anything, I'm afraid. Presumably you looked at the config editor...

 

$100 laptop not for the public

OMG that is so stupid, how could it not benefit the third world countries if the public are paying for them to have them?? I mean if what was suggested ($200 for the laptop, $100 for the laptop and $100 for one to be sent to the third world) then i think the poorer people would be getting them a hell of a lot faster.
