Windows 10: Fast internet but really slow downloads

I am trying to download files on opera I have also tried chrome and the download speed I am getting is 120 KB/s. I thought it may be a problem with the internet nut I am cabled into a TP link Wi-Fi extender using a cat 6 cable. I have checked using a speed test and the results were 322.52 MB/s download and 97.30 MB/s upload. I have already done multiple full scans and nothing has been found on my computer as well. Is there any way I can fix this. Any help would be appreciated!!!

Slow download speeds, in spite of a fast connection, could be related to an outdated router, distance of your devices to the router, ISP throttling, or the number of people or devices connected to your network. To test the latter, disconnect all other devices on your Wi-Fi and restart your downloads.

Really slow internet

Hi I was wondering if anyone has Virgin as their ISP because the moment it turns 6pm my internet goes from 20mb to 56k. I can't understand if it is virgin throttling the internet or just my end, although Virgin throttles it to keep it fair; they only cut the speed in half and 10mb is still ridiculously fast but I don't know why I'm getting bad speeds like that :shadedshu It also says in the terms and conditions that it will be throttled if you exceed the download limit but the problem is none of the pc's were on all day because I was out playing football *Smile So I can't have exceeded the download limit. Anyone got any suggestions.

 

Fast Internet Speeds but downloads and whole applications very slow.

I have started to notice that my Internet was very slow suddenly 3 weeks ago. I since then started to do anything what was also said in other threads etc. (e.g this one https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/all/fast-internet-but-slow-download-speed/1ccc54a4-184f-42bd-ae02-46e3234a6f2a)
I have done multiple Speedtest all state that I have fast Internet (220MB/s Download 30-40MB/s Upload) but Download Speeds in Browser are for example way way slower. I was trying to download a Game (Prepar3D by Lockheed Martin) and it needed for 30,1 GB around 10 Hours. But not just Browser download speeds are awful but also Discord and any other Application using Internet is very slow. I also reset my PC 2 Times and it never worked. Hope somebody can help!
