Windows 10: Fast PC now runs slow

For about 3 months now, my usually fast PC has started to run extremely slow, now to the point of being unusable. To be more specific, it runs slow in everything, apps take longer to open, run laggier, more stutters, game with lower fps, and a whole lot of stuttering in overall animations, also web browsers now crash when I switch tabs too quickly or open them up quickly.My system specs are:I7-9750H 9th gen I7GTX 1660TiDDR4 16 GB Ram with 500GB SSD and 1TB HDDI've tried almost everything I could find, checked for malware or viruses with windows defender and Malwarebytes, ran checks with CMD,

To assist you with your concern, we suggest you to run the System Maintenance Troubleshooter to check and see why your PC is running slow and unresponsive. Here are the steps:

• Press Windows Key + X.
• Click on Control Panel.
• Select Troubleshooting. If you cant find the option, click View By and select Large Icons.
• On the left pane, click on View All.
• Click on System Maintenance to run the troubleshooter.

pc running slow

since the last windows 10 up date my pc is running slow and all games music etc has disappeared. my pc is also telling me it is logging me in with a temp pass word. any suggestions please

I would suggest you to run System maintenance troubleshooter.

Try the followings steps:

  Click "Search" and type "Troubleshooting" without quotes and hit enter.
  
• 
  Select "System maintenance"
  
• 
  Click next to run the troubleshooter.
