Windows 10: Fatal Error BSOD: usbipd attach --wsl --busid <x-y>

I run:usbipd listusbipd bind usbipd attachUpon running usbipd attach, I get BSOD with the following bugcheck analysis. For more context, I am attempting to let my WSL use my USB webcam.******************************************************************************** ** Bugcheck Analysis ** ****************************************************************************

Attached below for you al the sintax in the Powershell and the command , the webcam is plugged in the USB port 1-2

as you may see below:

PS C:\WINDOWS\system32> usbipd wsl list

BUSID DEVICE STATE

1-2 NexiGo N950P 4K Webcam, NexiGo N950P 4K Webcam Audio Not attached

1-3 Dispositivo di input USB Not attached

2-2 Realtek Bluetooth Adapter Not attached

3-1 Integrated Camera Not attached

3-3 ELAN WBF Fingerprint Sensor Not attached



PS C:\WINDOWS\system32> usbipd wsl detach -b 1-2

usbipd: info: Device with busid '1-2' was already not attached.

PS C:\WINDOWS\system32> usbipd wsl detach --busid <1-2>

Hi,

I have already tried in WSL PowerShell the command :

usbipd wsl detach -b [BUSID ]

and now nothing happens the message is

usbipd: info: Device with busid '1-2' was already not attached.

The issue is that Device Manager still doesn't recognize the USB webcam

Those are safe methods which I also give out. But you may need to run disconnect Command noted in the tutorial here:

"Once you are done using the device in WSL, you can either physically disconnect the device or run this command from an administrator command prompt on Windows.

usbipd wsl detach --busid <busid>

..............."
