    This problem began when I installed Windows on a new hard drive. I had swapped my old one out for one with more space.


    Everything was fine until I started experiencing the error listed in the title. Now it seems as if I cannot update anymore. I've tried both Repair drive from the Windows 10 Installation Disc and SFC. I'm really stuck on what to do.

    Fatal Error C00000D4 when installing update.

    When trying to install "Cumulative Update for Windows 10 Version 1511 for x64-based Systems (KB3135173)" it configures updates to about 15%, restarts, then gives the error message "Fatal error C00000D4 applying update operation 290 of 37999 (InkSeg.dll)".
    Anyone know how to fix it?

    Fatal Error C00000D4 applying update operation 872 of 50659 (InkDiv.dll)

    I downloaded an update for Windows 10, it asked to reboot to finish the update but it fails and has to undo the changes each time. Specifically it'll give me a fatal error message on boot when it reaches
    the BIOS splash screen.Fatal Error C00000D4 applying update operation 872 of 50659 (InkDiv.dll) I'll provide some event logs and a dxdiag, hopefully someone here can make more sense of it than I
    can. If any other info is needed please just ask. Please and thank you in advance.
