    FATAL & PERSISTANT CRASHES CAUSED By REAKTEK Driver updates from Win Update


    FATAL & PERSISTENT CRASHES CAUSED By REALTEK Driver updates from Win Update


    This is a "DRIVER_POWER_STATE_FAILURE" from Windows Update manager installing

    a RealTek Driver (2/22). There is no chance to roll this out -- the system crashes almost

    immediately. After booting the system lasts for seconds.


    The system is a 'DELL 5477 AIO' with Intel7 (gen8). DELL build 4306.15 UEFS.

    The Sound Driver as shipped is A-ok, it is Microsoft' updated driver that is VIRUS-like.


    I have restored the Image from LOCAL and from Cloud 4 times. Windows Update really

    does the death-blow! I do not need this fatal terminal update -- how can I exclude it

    from loading -- after the 5th next total rebuild.

    This is up to step 10. I assumed "/fixoot" was a typo and tried "/fixboot." Should I proceed?

    I got as far as step 13 and... it booted to desktop! I assume I should go on and enter the remaining commands into administrative command prompt?
