Windows 10: fault 0x000007d1

I guess I have the same problem as many others. First I had two printers, working without any problem: HP Deskjet 94oc and a HP Officejet 6500. Then suddenly these printers didn't react anymore, obviously after having (automatically) upgraded Windows 10 (64bits) with upgrade 1803. I thought the printers were too old because there was no longer to obtain a new driver for these printers.
Then I bought a new printer, EPSON ET-2650. Allthough printing is possible by sending every time a mail to a new Epson account, printing directly from my pc is still impossible! Every time when I try to print something I will get a message "fault 0x000007d1, the driver is not valid".
Now I'm two weeks busy with finding a solution for this problem. Is there someone who can help or advise me?

A misconfiguration with the device driver can cause the error code 0x000007D1. I will need more details to properly address your issue. Kindly answer the following questions:

• How did you install the printer driver? Was it automatically installed through Windows Update or did you manually install it?
• Can you tell me the current OS Build of your Windows 10 version 1803 PC? You can find this information by clicking the
  Start button, type
  About your PC, press Enter, and then scroll down to
  Windows specifications.

Daemon tools, Alcohol 120% and Power Archiver Pro uses SCSI Pass Through Direct (SPTD), which is a well known cause for BSOD's.
Please remove Daemon Tools and run the SPTD pass through remover.

• Uninstall Daemon Tools
• Download the SPTD standalone installer and follow these steps:
  • Double click the executable to open it
  • Click on the button shown below

If the button is grayed out, like in the image, there is no more SPTD installation on your system, and you can close the window.


There seem to be a lot of app crashes from Realtek audio, I would suggest a reinstallation of the drivers.

I did as you just suggested. The Page Fault is gone but the familiar errors are back. I assume the next step is to increase those settings a bit. The first three should be 8-8-8 then I guess. But what about the fourth value?
