Windows 10: Fault_in_nonpaged_area(iaStorAV.sys) error after accidently starting WIN8 instead of Win10

I had upgraded from WIN 8 to 10 and the boot screen showed option to start WIN10 or WIN8. I was looking for a license key on a program i had installed on WIN 8 and figured both OS were active. When I clicked on WIN8 it rebooted and said restoring your windows to WIN8. Because the upgrade took FOREVER i panicked and hard shut off the PC using the power button figuring it had not done anything yet and would just present me with the screen again to choose WIN 10 or WIN 8. BIG mistake. Now my PC wont start even with a recovery thumb drive giving the error Fault_in_nonpaged_area(iaStorAV.sys) evry time.I tried everything including making install media which does not work. The recovery thumb drive gives the same error. I have my OS on an SSD drive. Any help is appreciated. Don't want to have to reinstall from scratch!

Win8 to Win10

Your reply is not helpful. Are you an employee of Msoft? In spite of your condescending suggestion, I was able to go back to Win 8 thereby eliminating the bugs and instablnessability of Win10. Exception being the way Msoft trys to sneak 10 onto my Win8
updates. Well I fixed this **** too by turning off the irritating updates.

activate win10 problem after update from win8

I updated my Win8 to Win10. Now try to activate it. when I insert the win8 key it comes with the following message/error:

"This product key is being used by on another PC. Please try a different key."

Error code: 0x803fa071.

The win8 is the one came with he new laptop. I replaced the HDD (broken) with a new one, used the recovery USB and installed win8, updated to win8.1 and win10.

Hmm... Overall I think Win8(.1 update 1) is better than Win10.

When MS released Windows 8 they should have given user the choice between the Start Menu and the Start screen.
