Windows 10: Faulty I225-v chip causing bsod ?

Faulty Module: dxgmms2.sys causes BSOD

Hi,

I tried everything you have suggested, and i was still getting the same problems.

I re-seated my CPU and then my computer was working fine all day yesterday, i was able to play specific games that were causing bsod's and crashing.

Today it is now back to Bsod and crashing on those games

Could this just be a faulty piece of hardware? Like a faulty motherboard or CPU

Would sharing event viewer logs help at all? if so then let me know.

exfat.sys BSOD Caused by SysmonDRV

Hi!

I have the same problem. When entering the password to a USB with Bitlocker
it crash with a BSOD. When uninstalling Sysmon v.11.11 it works again (without a BSOD).

The faulty module is exfat.SYS when analyzing the mini crash dump.

• OS: Windows 10, x64
• Sysmon 11.11
• Occurs when accessing a USB with Bitlocker.

Tracking faulty driver causing BSOD

Hello Microsoft Community,

I would like to know what is the best way to track faulty driver that's been causing my BSOD since June.

I'm currently using WhoCrashed to know about these BSODs it does not reveal which driver/software is faulty.

Also to note, I have just restarted my laptop last week and i uninstalled all incoming Window updates and disabled driver updates as well.

Hope you guys can help me since I can't seem to solve this issue for a month now.
