Windows 10: Favorites alphabetize themselves.

Occasionally my favorites seem to alphabetize themselves. How can I stop this?

I have Windows 10....

This was most helpful. You have go to hub /favorites and click on-Sort By Name- in blank space to the right edge. The whole list alphabetizes. You can do this for topics too.

You can do the same thing and click on-create new folder- or manually move item to the correct folder. Thenre-alphabetize the list. It worked, but it took me several hours to re-alphabetize my list the way I wanted it. I even added my Windows
7 favorites list.

So I had a lot to correct. It's done & I'm happy. Thank you very much.

Let me provide you now the steps on how to to sort your folders in alphabetical order.

This method will allow you to arrange your favorites by alphabetical or by their numbers.

Here are the steps:

• Open Internet Explorer.
• Click on Favorites.
• Right-click on Favorites Bar.
• Right-click on the Favorites folder.
• Click on Sort by, then select Name and
  Ascending.
