Windows 10: Favorites crashes Edge Browser when selected

Recently, Favorites crashes Edge Browser every time when selected from the Upper Right corner ... Unable to import favorites from Interner Explorer to edge in windows 10

I suggest you to follow the steps below and check if it helps.

Step1: Check Favorites folder in User profile.

  Open C: Drive.
  
• 
  Select User.
  
• 
  Select user profile.
  
• 
  Click on Favorites.
  
• 
  If you’re able to see the favorites list, then you will be able to import the Favorites from there.
  

Step 2: Import Favorites from folder or from browser.

• 
  Open the Microsoft EDGE browser.
  
• 
  Click on Favorites.
  
• 
  Select Favorites settings.
  
• 
  Click on Import.

  Are you referring to Microsoft Edge Browser/internet Explorer favorite?
  

The favorite that you are referring is Edge or Internet Explorer browser, I would suggest to clear cookies and history or right-click on the list which you want to remove by selecting delete.

Follow the steps on how to clear cookies.

To view your browsing history, select Hub >
History. To delete it, select Clear all history, choose the types of data or files that you want to remove from your PC, then select
Clear.

Note: applicable to Edge browser.

For internet Explorer follow the steps below.

• 
  Open Internet Explorer, Click on the favorite menu.
  
• 
  Choose “Organize favorite”, click on favorite you wish to delete.
  
• 
  Click on delete which can found below.

Favorites disappeared in edge

I would like to inform you that all your favorites saved in Microsoft Edge web browser are located in the file path-

%LocalAppData%\Packages\Microsoft.Windows.Spartan_cw5n1h2txyewy\AC\Spartan\User\Default\Favorites

If you have saved the same web browsers in Internet Explorer you can import them to Edge by following the steps below:

• 
  Go to "More Actions" by selecting the
  "(...)" in the upper right corner of the Edge window.
  
• 
  Select "Settings"
  
• 
  Turn on (select) the "Show the favorites bar"
  
• 
  "Import favorites from another browser" will appear. Select it.
  
• 
  Choose the browser from which you want to import your favorites.
  
• 
  Select "Import".
