Windows 10: fbl_impressive Enterprise 10166

    keep getting this msg asking for a restart
    have restarted over 10 times in last few days
    update doesn't get it though ..
    so stuck on this install

    Error upgrading to build 10166 - Error 0x80240031

    I am getting this eror when trying to upgrade to the new build:

    fbl_impressive Professional 10166 - Error 0x80240031

    Any idea to fix this?

    currently I am using build 10130.

    windows 10 build 10162 to 10166 failing

    Have Win 10 TP home installed on laptop with 2gb ram and plenty of free hd space. Windows update shows the fbl_impressive update to 10166 ready to install but when trying I am getting a message that I need at least 2gb of ram and the upgrade fails.

    Any ideas?

    ask one of the others i got this w/ upgrading to 166 from 162 at first there was a temp folder i had to delete which forced WU to redownload 166.

    might be the same for you (Corrupted download.)

    hey thanks buddy , found my way to where the updates are kept:
    Windows\Software Distribution\Download and deleted the contents
    which allowed WU to try again
    this time success ! *chuckle
