Windows 10: FCU Download Size via Windows Update

Discus and support FCU Download Size via Windows Update in Windows 10 Installation and Upgrade to solve the problem; MS has been touting the virtues of software delivery optimization via UUP; but, looking at their UUP repository, there's hardly any size difference...     FCU Download Size via Windows Update


    MS has been touting the virtues of software delivery optimization via UUP; but, looking at their UUP repository, there's hardly any size difference between the required set of canonical UUP files and an esd file.

    But I'm thinking the Express delivery method used by WU ought to significantly reduce file size. Can anyone say what was the size of the FCU on a 1703 machine that had the latest updates?

    ?? Class Action Lawsuit RE: Fall Creators 'update'

    We use Provue's Panorama 6. FCU 1709 renders this database software unusable. We have rolled back to FCU 1703 but now have to delete the downloaded upgrade files from C:\WINDOWS\SoftwareDistribution\Download every day. Turning of Windows Update services
    does not work.

    Does anyone know what FCU 1709 disables that renders my database software unusable?

    After reverting from the fall creator update, pc more or less dead.

    Hi there,

    I will strongly suggest you do a clean install of Windows 10 via ISO file for better performance.

    Your PC hopefully will perform well after it.
