Windows 10: Feature Update to 24H2: Something went wrong. Try to reopen Settings later.

We have a problem with about 30% of our installed devices in the enterprise where Windows Update services fail after installation of the Windows 11 feature update to 24H2. They all throw the message "Something went wrong. Try to reopen Settings later.", but of course the message never goes away, and the Windows Update troubleshooter fails as well.This only occurs on devices that were once on Windows 10 22H2, were migrated to Windows 11 23H2 using that feature update, worked for a year, and then were migrated to Windows 11 24H2 using the feature update. Unfortunately, none of the standard fix

Again, thank you for your reply. Had you used the MajorGeeks site I gave you per your request, the download should have been fairly easy. If you don't like that either, then for your future reference, Softpedia.com is another reliable host site for many good programs. And of course, if you don't like those, you can use Google to find more download options. When I've suggested this program in other threads, people typically haven't had difficulty running it. First boot to Safe Mode. Then run the program. Then work through options

Getting started/1/2/3/4 - these are sensible steps and basic checks. - if you are sufficiently confident, you can skip 1 or more. Then Backup Tools - if you wish e.g. to create a Restore Point. Then Repairs Main, Open Repairs - and select only the repair you want. (Windows Update). Have you considered reading the Help file?

Hi sir recently I have deleted some temp files seeing youtube video to clean up c drive memory.But later my update windows got blank and there is showing a sentence that is''Something went wrong try to reopen settings later.''But later according to youtube I saw that some services like windows update service, update orchestrator service, medic update service and may be more other services.after seeing this i saw youtube and download update service,orchestrator service manually and enabled those two services.But again it occurred some error-''error encountered''mentioned below-----

But when i close the pc and reopen again update and orchestrator service got stopped automatically and windows service occurred same error that something went wrong try to reopen the settings later.

Sir please help me as soon as it possible to make that issue enabling update and orchestrator service permanently and got windows update continue and optionall update error 0x80246008
