    Feature update to Windows 10, version 1803 stuck initializing


    In the Windows Update tab of settings, the update 'Feature update to Windows 10, version 1803' is stuck at "initializing" and refuses to move forward from there. It is preventing all the other updates from even beginning to install. It has been stuck initializing for an hour now!

    I Googled 'Feature update to Windows 10, version 1803 stuck initializing' but only other problems relating to the update showed. There is nothing regarding it being stuck on initializing.

    How do I get the ball rolling?

    Win10: windows update stuck at never ending loop ?

    When in win10:
    • Update&security -> Windows update -> Finding update... .... .... ....
    Planning to download the latest Win10.ISO (vers.1803) and manually update:
    - Then wait that my ordered new SSD arrives and clone the old HDD to it.

    Windows feature update for Windows 10 version 1803 stuck at 28%

    I'm using an ASUS Transformer 3 Pro on Windows 10 Pro. I noticed in the Windows Update section in Settings that my update download status for the feature update to Windows 10, version 1803, has been stuck at 28% for several days now. How can I make it
    finish the download?
