All beware, Feature update to Windows 10, version 1903, "bricked" my WinBook TW100 Tablet. Make sure you have your recovery options and backups.

When doing updates on my TW100 Tablet last night (7/19), Windows Update reported that it was up to date. However, Microsoft posted below that a message headlined with "Feature update to Windows 10, version 1903" In the message it reported that the version of Windows 10 home installed on TW100 was approaching end of life support and to maintain security it would be best to download and install as soon as possible. https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/release-information/status-windows-10-1903

In my case, I have an alternative and the TW100 Tablet short on RAM and C: drive space and not upgradeable. When I have some free time I will try to "unbrick" it, I have done it before.

I contacted Microcenter's tech support. The chat representative stated it was a known issue, and that Microsoft would be pushing out a driver update. His suggestion, was that it would be over the weekend, but after not receiving it Sunday evening, I chose
to use a USB keyboard and my recovery USB drive to reinstall Win 8. My touchscreen is working fine again.

I expect I'll attempt windows 10 again, when I have more time, but this time I'll have my current drivers saved to USB.

The steps listed by the Msft support engineer, have been tested and applied but were unsuccessful. The drivers for the touchscreen, are not hosted by Microcenter, and the few versions I was able to find online did not change the mirrored effect.

workaround: roll back to Windows 8 (though Microcenter states it is not possible).

So I upgraded my Winbook TW100 tablet to Windows 10 and I have a slight issue. When I click on the screen, lets say bottom left, the touch mark will show up at the top right. It's like the screen is reversed. I tried calibrating the screen, no luck. Maybe
its a driver issue?

I've been trying to get the touchscreen on my Winbook TW100 to work -- I get no response at all, and have to use an external keyboard with touchpad. I've also found that I don't have an audio driver or the battery indicator, and there are several items in
the Device Manager that are marked with the yellow attention symbol.

I installed W10 clean, as I've had bad luck installing over an existing W7 or W8.1 installation. That process bricked an HP laptop, and on this tablet it spent about 14 hours "searching for updates" before I shut it down.

I copied all the drivers I could find in the 8.1 install, but I can't get anything to work. I copied Touchsetting.gt from 8.1 as well and copied it to windows\inf and rebooted, but no luck.

I can always go back to 8.1 (I have a Macrium image) but I prefer 10 and would like to solve these problems. Unfortunately, Micro Center doesn't see fit to supply drivers.

Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks!

EDIT: I was able to update a couple of alerted drivers in the Device Manager, and either that or one of the Windows updates loading in the background brought up the audio and battery indicator. I still have several "unknown devices" under Other Devices and
I have no idea what they are, or if they're related to the touchscreen.
