Windows 10: Feature update to Windows 10, version 1903 - Error 0x800705b4 what to do about it?

I have had failed attempts to install Windows 10 version 1903 since June.


It is wasting my electricity leaving the computer chugging away achieving nothing for all these hours.


After the last failure the log of previous updates vanished completely and the installation was left hanging at 88%. That was in August, but it has taken until now for the error message to show up.


There is nothing on the computer other than default Windows software, my photos and Sibelius music software...……. should be able to cope.....


Really frustrating, as I don't want to have to go and buy a new computer to start coping with Windows updates from now on. We should be able to reuse the old hardware ad infinitum [and thereby save the planet] if you can help clear space on my computer for me and get this huge upgrade to work.

To resolve your concern about the Error 0x800705b4, we suggest that you follow the steps below:

• Reset Windows Update Components
  to resolve error codes while updating your version of Windows.
  
• Use
  DISM tool to fix some Windows corruption errors.

I recommend you to upgrade to V1903 via ISO file.
