    Feature update to Windows 10, version 22H2 keeps reinstalling when i check for windows updates. I looked up some help and the best article i found was to unistall and reinstall this update. However I do not see it anywhere in update history top remove it.

    [Solved] Windows 10 keeps reinstalling KB3119142

    I noticed quite some time ago that KB3119142 (Update for Microsoft Visual C++ 2012 Update 4 Redistributable Package) kept reinstalling itself for some reason. At least once daily. Sometimes up to several times a day. I just ignored it. It didn't seem to be doing any harm. And I figured they'd eventually fix it. Well...days turned into weeks, weeks into months, with no end to the problem in sight. It dragged on unsolved for at least the last few months. Literally reinstalling itself hundreds of(at least a hundred, felt like more) times in that period of time.

    So I finally googled it a couple days ago. And just got around to fixing it today. Which appears to have worked. And it couldn't have been easier to do. I feel so stupid to have let it intimidate me for so long.*Oops! Feature update to Windows 10, version 22H2 keeps reinstalling when i check for windows... :oops:

    Feature update to Windows 10, version 22H2 Failed to install on ‎9/24/‎2023

    I recently did a clean install of windows 10 pro which has been fine since 2017. The only issue is installing the feature update 22h2. It goes through the download and install but after the restart it says it failed to install and it starts all over again.

    I found a similar issue titled "Feature update to Windows 10, version 22H2 Failed to install on ‎3/10/‎2023 0x8007001f"

    I followed the steps listed in the techs response however, I was unable to rename the folders in step 2 or resolve the issue.

    Can you advise please. TIA
