Windows 10: February 2019 Features Update

During a video conversion session on my Windows 10 PC last weekend, Windows Update notified me that there was a major "Features" update waiting to be downloaded and installed. I cleared my desktop and proceeded with the update. It took about 20 minutes and several restarts to complete. When I returned to my work, my PC's performance had drastically dropped... I'm guessing 20%. What first came to my attention was when I launched Chrome... it literally took about 2-3 seconds to open. My video conversion programs, as well as my media players [Zoom Player Max, VLC Media Player] are now crawling compared to right before the update. My system is a powerhouse: Intel I7-8700k, 32GB DDR4 RAM, a 1080ti video card with 6GB of RAM... and a fairly recent reinstall of Windows 10 [about 3 weeks ago]. The system files are perfect, I reset the DNS ??, and I didn't do a thing to the sytem since my PC restarted after the update.


Can anybody help me? Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.

Office 2019

Only supported on Win10. Sorry, 8.1 users, only 4 years old, gotta go.

Last year at Ignite, we announced Office 2019 – the next perpetual version of Office that includes apps (including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook, and Skype for Business) and servers (including Exchange, SharePoint, and Skype for Business). Today we’re pleased to share the following updates:

• Office 2019 will ship in H2 of 2018. Previews of the new apps and servers will start shipping in the second quarter of 2018.
• Office 2019 apps will be supported on:
  • Any supported Windows 10 SAC release
  • Windows 10 Enterprise LTSC 2018
  • The next LTSC release of Windows Server
• The Office 2019 client apps will be released with Click-to-Run installation technology only. We will not provide MSI as a deployment methodology for Office 2019 clients. We will continue to provide MSI for Office Server products.
