Windows 10: Feedback for Windows 11 Notepad

I cannot access the functionality from the implementation of a function similar to the code below in Windows 11 Notepad. I suggest you to follow the steps provided below:

• Open Task Manager. Here’s a tip: press CTRL+SHIFT+ESC.
• Click on Startup tab.
• Select Notepad from the list and click on Disable.

Old Notepad win 11

Thank you for your speedy reply. I went through the steps as advised and .txt is not listed in file type, it lists .tts and the next one is .txz. Also there is no notepad listed in link type.

 

Notepad on Windows 7\

Suggestion would be uninstall then new install on Win7. Maybe an older version would work better? A list, maybe Version 7?
