    few of my keys have been short circuiting i guess my w key presses ew my s key presses ds my c key presses cx. this sentence took me a million years to write. any solution? i even tried external keyboard and external keyboard works fine. i tried all drivers updates everything possible i think it is a hardware issue the repair centre says my keyboard has short circuited but idk if its true please help

    @dhievm go ahead and list the model number that gives exact specs/info.


    Does it stop right at the Toshiba logo and sit there? Will it sit forever til you press a key, or will it eventually work after so long?

    Keyboard key not working unless pressed together with another key.

    Keyboards consist of keys and a printed circuit board with a number of printed tracks. When you press a key then it either makes contact on the circuit board or it does not. Your printed circuit board has a track with a crack. The crack closes either when
    you press the 2 key hard or when you press the W key lightly. Playing with keyboard drivers will make no difference.

    I use a toshiba laptop , at startup can not be readily loading into Windows 8 , so it has to press any key emerging loading . How to overcome in order to loading without press ?
