Windows 10: Few Programs Are Hanging and Error Messages in Event Viewer for WebCache folder in User Profile

Hello,Since last 3 days, some of the programs installed in my Lenovo Ideapad S340 such as Adobe Acrobat DC, CCleaner, Ashampoo WinOptimizer, Ashampoo Registry Cleaner etc have been hanging after launching / opening them. The cursor icon remains in "loading" state after 3-4 seconds.When I click on close 'x' button, it shows the pop up as "Adobe Acrobat DC is not responding". I have no choice but to click on "Close the program" option.I tried executing sfc /scannow command, it completed 100% successfully and gave the message that it has repaired some of the corrupted files.After that I also

Error in event viewer

Hi

I keep geting the following in the Event viewer ,
The description for Event ID (4) in source ( SuperProServer ) cannot be found . the local computer may not have the necessary registry information or message DLL files to display message from a remote computer . You may be able to use /AUXSOURCE= flag to retrieve this description . The following information is part of the event, The event log file is corrupt .

has anyone any ideas has to what this means .

Event viewer error with event id 10016

I understand that you are getting an error “DistributedCOM 10016” in the event viewer logs.

• Do you face any issues on the computer?
  
• Have you made any recent changes to the computer?

This problem may occur if either of the following conditions is true:

• A program with the class ID (CLSID) that appears in the message tries to start the COM component by using the DCOM infrastructure. However, the user does not have the required permissions to start the COM component.

• The Network Service account does not have the correct permissions.

Event logs are special files that record significant events on your computer, such as when a user logs on to the computer or when a program encounters an error. Whenever these types of events occur, Windows records the event in
an event log that you can read by using Event Viewer. Advanced users might find the details in event logs helpful when troubleshooting problems with Windows and other programs.

If you do not have any issues with app or any other program I would suggest you to ignore it.

Error in Event Viewer

As you have mentioned, you have performed a repair installation on the computer and you see Event 508, 510 and 533 in Event Viewer.



I would like to inform that if you see any critical error in Event Viewer, please share the event logs with us to help you with the appropriate troubleshooting steps. Please follow the steps mentioned below to share the event logs:

1. Press Windows + X from the keyboard, select
   Event Viewer.
   
2. Expand Windows Logs from the left pane and select
   Applications.
   
3. Click Filter Current Log from extreme right pane. Then in the new windows check the box beside
   Error and click OK.
   
4. Now, look for a critical Error in the list and note down the message/information from the
   General Tab in the lower section.
