    ff Neshta.Virus.FileInfector.DDS


    Malware bytes detected an .exe with Neshta.Virus.FileInfector .DDS, which was downloaded after I accessed a link I received in the email. I played this file on virustotal and it detected 30/74. The question is: If I didn't run the EXE, am I risk free? After all, malware bytes only detected the infected exe, and no other malicious processes opened. Furthermore, I saw that neshta infects .exe file, and I didn't see anything different when running a program. On the virustotal website, in the community tab, I saw some people say that it is the vidar infostaler virus, and

    opening .dds files with gimp

    Simply, HOW? I got the DDS plugin but the POS wont open DDS files still. Can someone give me a step-by-step rundown of how to install the DDS plugin for gimp so I know if I'm missing something?
