Windows 10: ffmpeg.dll download and PC Not Responding

Hi Guys. Ever since my last update [including Teams] I've been experiencing a number of problems. They may not be connected but it's not getting better. I have had issues with ffmpeg.dll drives and not sure why? My PC notifies me that it os Not Responding when I go to open the most basic sites. I can not now open WhatsApp on my PC bespite removing and redownloading it. My Word doc. has new limitations on it. Shall I go on? What do you think I should do?I had an MS Guy access my PC a few weeks ago and I thought all was sorted then but each day it has become increasingly fustrating.Look forward

DLL Missing

The problem is, that the required DLL is not actually even listed there.
There are just dozens of download adware links from the top to the bottom.

I actually posted the link for the "list of troubleshooting steps to resolve your boost_threads.dll problems" which is located half way down the page. I did not mean to promote any downloads.

Why don't I just go back and indicate that on my original post? That way there's access to the 'step-by-step' instructions, which are accessed via those green 'plus' signs next to the topics.

If the link still needs to be removed, then let me know

 

Need Help Installing FFmpeg Converter

Hello,
I'm not having success installing the FFmpeg Converter on my PC.
I was following the instructions posted here.
How to Install FFmpeg on Windows: 10 Steps (with Pictures)

After I thought I installed it I got this message.




When I checked some other sites I didn't see the amount of files that I got when I unzipped the download.
Here's two pics showing what was unzipped.









What I did was copy and paste all this into a new file in "C"
I didn't open any of the folders.




Where did I go wrong?
Unopened folders?
Where I pasted?
