Discus and support ffmpeg.dll in AntiVirus, Firewalls and System Security to solve the problem; Hello. I apologize right off the bat for my poor level of computer understanding.     Hello. I apologize right off the bat for my poor level of computer understanding. Here is my issue: I am running Windows 10 and get the following error when I boot up: "The code execution cannot proceed because ffmpeg.dll was not found. reinstalling the program may fix this problem.". Then, i searched and directly installed it from the 1st website i sawunfortunately. It was a zip file that i opened using Winrar. Once i extracted it, i could not access to the start menualso, i couldn't shut down my pc, and other icons, also when ever i try to open the contextual menu of the file, my pc

    The problem is, that the required DLL is not actually even listed there.
    There are just dozens of download adware links from the top to the bottom.

    I actually posted the link for the "list of troubleshooting steps to resolve your boost_threads.dll problems" which is located half way down the page. I did not mean to promote any downloads.

    Why don't I just go back and indicate that on my original post? That way there's access to the 'step-by-step' instructions, which are accessed via those green 'plus' signs next to the topics.
