Windows 10: File Blocked - TrojanDropper:Win32/Dexel.A

Hi Team, My company developers have a product which is being blocked by Defender ATP, TrojanDropper:Win32/Dexel.A is the signature given. We have added the hash of the .msi file as an indicator to allow file. This is not a solution we can push to our many customers who have downloaded the file.Are you able to assist, i can share the file hash if needed.

(Sound like a possible "DLL-Hell" issue, but "Windows File Protection" &/or "System File Protection" should have countered for this... no biggie, there's ways around that too!)

How To Block Facebook

Step 1. Explore C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc.
Step 2. Look for a file named as hosts, then open it with Notepad.
Step 3. At the bottom of the file, add the line as shown below:
127.0.0.1 www.blockingsite1.com
We have just shown you www.blockingsite 1.com as example only, replace it with the actual URL so that they are inaccessible to all.
Step 4. Simultaneously if you have more websites that would like to be blocked, just press Enter and repeat step 3 to add additional URL until all desired websites are added. Now make “Enter” at the last line of the UR
Step 5. Save and close the file.
After doing the above formalities all websites that you have entered will be blocked with immediate effect. Definitely this theory will help you to prevent certain websites from being accessed by your kids or anybody else for any reason.

It's possible that Computer Management is being blocked by SmartScreen. We suggest disabling it and see if it helps. Follow the steps below:

1. Click the Start button.
2. Type smartscreen in the search bar.
3. Click Change SmartScreen settings.
4. Click the drop-down arrow in the Security row.
5. Click Change settings beneath the WindowsSmartScreen row.
6. Click Don't do anything (turn off Windows SmartScreen).
7. Click OK.
