  1. File Browser Loads too slow.

OK, the AI's all over the planet keep answering about WEB browsers when I search for this, but the FILE MANAGER, File browser, has suddenly started taking 15 to 30 seconds to come up. It used to be instant.Back in the day, it was a Carbonite plugin that made this happen. I suspect it's the same now, but I don't have Carbonite on this machine. So, how can I get a list of the plugins in the FILE browser, disable them one at a time without removing them from the registry, and figure out what horrible beast needs to be unplugged from my machine?ALSO, WHY isn't there a page, like in Chrome where

I have done the steps listed above. They have not helped and I am still getting constant script errors, along with slow loading pages. Are there any other suggestions?

    Cllipchamp loading video extremely slow

    Hello! tonyzam42

Thank you for posting in Microsoft Community

It seems to me you’re experiencing with Clipchamp. Slow video loading can be frustrating, especially when you’re eager to edit your footage. Please note that we have limited resources and troubleshooting steps if the issue is within the device.

    Allow me to ask:

    • Is this happening to other files? or just this specific file?
    • Is this only happening in the Galaxy S24 phone? or is it also happening in the other device?

    Let’s troubleshoot this issue:

    1. Network Connection:
      • First, ensure that your network connection is stable and fast enough for uploading and downloading large files. A slow internet connection might contribute to the delay in loading videos.
    2. Browser Cache and Cookies:
      • Sometimes, cached data or cookies in your browser can cause performance issues. Try the following steps:
        • Clear your browser cache: This will remove stored data that might be affecting Clipchamp’s performance.
        • Clear cookies and site data: Similar to cache, clearing cookies can help resolve loading issues.
    3. Refresh the Page:
      • Sometimes a simple page refresh can work wonders. Right-click on the Clipchamp page and select “Reload” or use your browser’s reload button. This often resolves loading problems, especially when you first open a project.
    4. Camera Settings:
      • While the camera settings on your Galaxy S24 might not directly impact Clipchamp’s loading speed, it’s still worth checking them:
        • Ensure you’re recording videos in a compatible format (e.g., MP4, MOV).
        • Verify that the resolution and frame rate settings are reasonable. Extremely high resolutions or frame rates might result in larger files that take longer to load.
    5. Check for updates
      • You can check the update for the Clipchamp by going to the Samsung store, or Google Play store.
      • Check the updates for your Operating system in your phone.

You can check the following file inputs that Clipchamp support: What input file types does Clipchamp support? - Microsoft Support

Remember that Clipchamp’s performance can also depend on your device’s processing power and available memory. Please let me know if you are still facing the same issue or have fixed the issue after trying the troubleshooting steps above.

    Thank you,

    Vince

    File Browser Loads too slow.

    File explorer slow/Never loading solution

Disable Search won't make icons load faster. It just disables the ability to find programs and other stuff fast!
Naturally I tested your "tips" and still, loading icons are slow. It has to be some other thing going on in W10. Windows 7 didn't have this problem. Microsoft wake up!
