Windows 10: File conversion from mp3 to mp4 or any video format, for youtube upload.

I recently converted a treasured vinyl LP to mp3, so I can play it in the Car. That all went according to plan. However, I would like to put some of the tracks on youtube, as this artist is now 80 years old and I am sure would love to see people appreciating his work online. I attempted to upload some but received a message stating mp3 file format if not accepted, you must use a file converter to change the format from mp3 to mp4. I downloaded one application which had a link on wikipedia, but my anti virus blocked it. So I got rid of that straight away. Does anybody know of a legitimate application that can perform this task please?. I would part with a small amount of cash but am only likely to use it on rare occasions so don't want to spend a fortune on it.

Need software to convert 17GB animation file to Youtube uploadable size

I'd upload the AVI to YouTube and let YouTube deal with the conversions. I uploaded an AVI to YouTube before and it said unknown format while uploading. It still managed to make it work after the upload was complete.

AVI is just a container file: it's what is inside that matters.


Edit: GIF...why not try a service like GIF to MP4 | CloudConvert The MPEG1 in that AVI has no compression and it's probably running at 60 frames per second. It only needs to be 30 frames per second and using a different codec (like MP4) should cut the size down to tiny.

 

Upload Video in Youtube

Internet Explorer 11 in Windows Phone 8.1 comes together with the File Picker which let’s you select and upload files. You can make use of the same to upload videos to YouTube. Follow these steps:

• Login in to your Google Account.
• Open YouTube.com/upload
• Tap on Select files to upload and choose the video file that you want to upload.
