File Explorer - All PDF files changed to "Chrome HTML" file type - including new PDF downloadsFriends,I appreciate your help. All my existing PDF files in a File Explorer-Desktop folder have been converted to Chrome HTML Document file type - both existing files and any new PDFs I download see screen shot below.I must have accidentally changed a Setting on my computer.How can I change all of the above files back to PDF???Much appreciated, Lawrence

Hi Monica

Point to one of those known PDF files that have changed to Chrome.

Right click it

Click Properties

Click General tab

Click Change type

Choose Adobe Acrobat in the list

Click OK

Click Apply then OK

This should reset those PDF files back to Acrobat.

I've changed the default settings to Adobe Acrobat to no effect.

Really appreciate any thoughts and help!

Hello Bhaumik,

For you to download and access the PDF files, please follow the steps below:

• Please download and install the UC browser and Xodo PDF Reader & Editor from Windows Store.
• Once installed, please download the PDF file from a web page using the
  UC browser by tapping the PDF file you wish to download > Click
  Regular Download.
• Once the PDF file is downloaded, please go to App list >
  Xodo application > Menu icon > Recent Documents > tap the
  PDF file you've downloaded from UC browser.

Please note that if you have an existing PDF Reader application installed on your phone, we suggest that you uninstall it first.
