Windows 10: File Explorer Causes Black Screen

Whenever I click on File Explorer, it causes my screen to go black and File Explorer doesn't open, with my curser still working. I have to use ctrl+alt+delete to restart my computer to get out of this issue. If I click on File Explorer while using another app firefox or Excel for example, I can still use them without any issue, but my home screen and taskbar have gone black, and when I exit the apps, I am back to my original issue. Black Screen after Log on


Computer boots to windows log on,have no password here.After a minute on log on it go to a black screen,stays there forever. I can get to Task Manager from black Screen,lost on what to do next. Just want my Windows 10 back, not sure what caused this problem. Any Suggestion on what my next step should be?*Sad

 

Black File Explorer

We suggest that you start your PC in Safe mode and see if File Explorer still shows a black image when you access your files. Safe Mode would help isolate the issue by starting Windows in a basic state, using a limited set of files and drivers. It may help

You may start your PC in Safe Mode by following the steps below:
