Windows 10: File explorer crash, BEX64, KERNELBASE.dll, need someone who understand about windows...

My file explorer sometimes restarts itself on my Alienware m16 R1 with windows 11, help please. First my PC freezes for 1-3 seconds, then file explorer restarts itself. When file explorer restarts the PC blinks, and luckily, after file explorer restarts itself, everything is still open except for the file explorer, so I have to reopen all what was in the file explorer before the restart, what is really annoying.Please don't tell me general fixes like "sfc /scannow" and etc, these are general fixes that for a lot of people don't solve anything. Windows Explorer crashes after copying files to Dropbox folder (BEX64)

I have found an intermittent bug with Dropbox 14.4.19: When I copy some files from my C: drive to a Dropbox folder, then the next time I access a folder on my C: drive, Windows Explorer crashes with that BEX64 thing.

At least, that's what the Event Viewer said, but it didn't give me any more information than that.

Has anyone else encountered this problem?

I am having the same problem as the OP in this thread.
Windows Explorer crashes whenever I open my external HDD or thumb drive in explorer..

I have tried the fixes listed in the above thread and I am getting the same error message as 'ktadie' (post 16). I think this is because I am running Windows 7 Professional. Windows explorer crashes when I open my 'Films' folder on my brand new 2tb external HDD. I have about 300 .avi files in this folder and some of the .avi files are several years old.

In short I believe I need the same fix given by 'Wile E' (post 7) but updated for Windows 7 Professional.

thats wierd... iv never had a large file crash explorer before....


and i have files ranging upto 80GB...
