Windows 10: File Explorer crashes when selecting multiple files.

First of all, this is the first time that i write something like this. When I select multiple files in File explorer it crashes. This does not happen immediately though, selecting 2 or 3 files usualy is fine, the crash usualy occurs when i select around 5-7 files or more the exact number of files differs. This problem occurs since i changed my cpu, ram, system disk C: and mainboard, but as far as i understand, the problem lies at the new system disk Samsung SSD 980 PRO 250GB, because when i change the boot order back to my old system disk Samsung SSD 850 EVO 250GB the problem does not

thats wierd... iv never had a large file crash explorer before....


and i have files ranging upto 80GB...

Effective Way to Solve the File Explorer Crashes Issue

You can try the following steps:

1. Tap down the Windows button first to activate the search bar.
2. After that, in the search bar type control, and then click on the top-most search result, that is on Control Panel.
3. Next, in the search bar type file.
4. Now, from the search results click on File Explorer Options.
5. Then, click on the Clean button.
6. Lastly, click on Apply and then on OK.
