Windows 10: File Explorer - Dodgy Folder Naming Behavior

Edition Windows 10 Home Version 22H2 Installed on ‎11/‎1/‎2020 OS build 19045.3693 Experience Windows Feature Experience Pack 1000.19053.1000.0 In File Explorer, in the Navigation Pane, when I create a new folder and start to type in the name, the cursor will automatically select the text while I am typing the words. Moments later, while I am still entering characters, the folder name field will start jumping up and down the column of other folder names as though it is trying to sort itself in alphabetical order. If I stop typing characters and just watch it bouncing back and forth, eventually

Moved a folder from another drive and rename and it still shows as the old folder name in certain places

I suggest you to try the steps provided below and check the behavior.

• Create a new folder name it as 'My Videos'.
• Now copy/cut and paste the contents which are in the folder "Videos", and delete the folder "Videos".
• Now check the behavior.

List file names than a folder.

Is there a bat file to generate the list of file names that I have inside a folder?
If possible you can help me to do it or give me suggestions. Thanks in advance.

Files remain in original folder after moving them to new folder in file explorer

The issue that you’ve encountered regarding the File Explorer may be caused by some configuration or files mismatched. To sort out your concern, we suggest that you reset the folder settings from the
Folder Options. This will reboot the folder’s preferences to its default state and remove any possible software conflict. To do this, you may follow these steps:

• Click Start, type File Explorer, and press
  Enter.
• On the File Explorer window, click the View tab > Options > Change folder and search options > View.
• Under the Folder views section, click Reset Folders, and then select
  Yes to confirm.
• Once you’re done, click OK, and then check if the issue persists.

Note: This process will remove the list of files that you recently opened.
